Warranty Method
- If Premium access is interrupted, the Shop will re-invite you to a new group or fix the issue.
- Pro-rated refund policy applies if the issue cannot be resolved (e.g., used for 6 months -> 50% refund).
- Warranty is void if your account is banned by Google for Terms of Service violations or if you voluntarily leave the group multiple times, triggering the 12-month restriction.
FAQ
1. Can I use my existing Google account or do I need a new one?
You can absolutely use your existing personal Google account. All your data, including watch history, liked videos, playlists, and channel subscriptions, will remain intact and unaffected.
2. Can the Family Manager see my private data?
No. According to Google's privacy policy, each family member has a separate Google account and private space. The Family Manager cannot view your browsing history, watch history, emails, or any other personal files.
3. How many devices can I use this on?
You can sign in to YouTube Premium on multiple devices (Phone, iPad, Smart TV, Laptop, etc.). However, Google may limit simultaneous streaming (especially for music) to one device at a time per account.
4. Why can't I join the family group even after clicking the link?
The most common reason is the "12-month rule." Google restricts accounts to switching family groups only once per year. If you see an error saying, "You can only switch family groups once every 12 months," please contact the Shop to switch the upgrade to a different, eligible email address.
5. Does this include YouTube Music?
Yes. Upgrading to YouTube Premium automatically grants you YouTube Music Premium access. You can download the dedicated YouTube Music app to enjoy high-quality music streaming, ad-free and with background play.
